What better way to ring in the New Year than to join your life with the one you love? Sounds cliche, but seriously..that’s an awesome way to welcome in 2012, right??? The best part is, if any of the New Year’s Resolutions fail, you can blame it on your new spouse in a matter of days! Think about it: if you want to lose more weight, but aren’t, you can say that your new spouse’s cooking is just too good! If you say you want to be more organized, you can blame your spouse for not keeping things clean around the house. Or even if your resolution is to be happier, you can blame it on your new spouse snoring uncontrollably therefore keeping you up to the wee hours of the night! It’s brilliant!!!!
Fortunately, none of that is going to be true for a couple so perfectly paired. Liz and Jesse go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly, like Rainy Days and Pajamas, like Richard Simmons and Spandex…too far? Sorry. Nevertheless, they are a MATCH! Proof of God’s goodness to pair two people together that compliment one another in every way, and their day was no different. Ashley and I had a blast following the two of them around and witnessing the beauty of their day. We were blessed to witness such love fill a room. We hope you all enjoy!
Ashley’s ShotAshley’s ShotGREAT story, and one that furthers my point from before. When I walked into the room where the gentlemen were all hanging out and relaxing, it was like a thick fog of anxiety was looming, so thick you could cut it with a knife. After a few minutes of whispers and giggles, Jesse finally piped up and said, “I forgot my tux.” The whole room burst into laughter, as did he! He said as he was only 10 minutes from the church, he looked over his shoulder and realized that there was nothing hanging in the rear window! Being that he was about 30 minutes away from his house at the time, he asked the pastor of the day to run by and grab it. But it got even better when Mr. Cecil (below left) received a phone call from his daughter, Liz, asking if he by any chance knew where her veil was. Jesse quickly snatched the phone and calmed her down by confessing his own “oopsie” of the day, and they both shared a good laugh.
So for all of you who fear the WORST happening on your day, I promise that no matter what you’ll look back on it and LAUGH! Photos by AshleyPhoto by AshleyAshley’s Detail Shots…what would I do without her?!
