You can learn a lot about a couple from their wedding photos. Take Dallas & David — that awesome blend of tenderness (check out them reading a few verses and a journal to each other in their no-look first-look) and fun-loving (we danced a LOT). They nailed the combination of a sacred and special day with the laid-back vibe of food trucks, all amidst the killer outdoors setting of Pilot Mountain, NC. Oh, and can we mention musical? That’s not only her dad singing with the band, but also her sister, who’s currently making it in Nashville. (An aside: I can only assume that it runs in the blood and Dallas is that talented, but the closest we got was listening to her sing along to a hymn during the ceremony).
But one thing that may not be immediately apparent about Dallas and David is their combined heart for service. I don’t say this lightly — they are some of the most “other” oriented people I’ve ever met. We knew this day was going to be a blast when we met the groomsmen, and they actually asked US how they could serve and help us during the day.
Dallas & David, you have our prayer and hope that the same selfless service you’ve shown not only us, but those close to you during your wedding day, will grow as you two live your new married life together. Thanks for letting us be a part of your day.
